Aneurysm that is developed in the arteries apart from aorta and brain are referred as Peripheral Aneurysm. This type of aneurysm is generally located in femoral, carotid and popliteal arteries. It affects the areas of our body apart from the aorta or brain. This aneurysm is very less likely to rupture.

Peripheral Aneurysm Symptoms
There is no symptoms identified in many peripheral aneurysms and can be diagnosed only by performing physical examination or screen tests. The most common symptoms are,
- Severe abdominal pain
- Sudden pain, weakness or numbness of leg
- Discolored and Painful Toe
