Cosmetic Gynecology

We concluded that ladies wanted and needed something more after years of practising Obstetrics and Gynecology and completing numerous deliveries and gynecologic procedures. She despised the changes that occurred to her as she grew older and after the birth of her child. Women have always desired to be beautiful, regardless of their age!

We chose to open an Aesthetic Gynecology Specialists office because we believe we can provide our patients with non-surgical and surgical treatment choices that will help them regain a younger and attractive appearance while also making them feel more feminine and beautiful.

What is Cosmetic Gynaecology, and what does it entail?
The treatment of vaginal related problems is referred to as cosmetic gynaecology. There are both surgical and non-surgical methods available. In India, it is still a new concept.

The following are some of the more frequent cosmetic gynaecological procedures:
Rejuvenation of the Vaginal Canal:
Vaginal “looseness” is a common complaint among women. Furthermore, it is frequently linked to a decline in sexual satisfaction. Childbirth, obesity, late age, and menopause are the main causes of this illness.

The muscles at the vaginal aperture are stretched, and the vaginal floor is weakened.

Vaginal swelling, pressure in the lower abdomen, painful intercourse, recurrent urinary tract infections, difficulty emptying intestines, difficulty emptying bladder, and decreased sensation during intercourse are all symptoms of vaginal prolapse.
Reduction of Labia Minora
The second most popular female genital plastic surgery operation is labioplasty of the Labia Minora, which is defined as the reduction of extra prepuce or superfluous skin along the side of the clitoris.

Women who dislike their huge projecting minora undergo labia minora reduction surgery. Difficulties with sexual intercourse, irritation with some types of clothes, and discomfort and pain with specific physical activities such as exercise and cycling are all functional difficulties that can be caused by Labia minora enlargement. Patients with enlarged labia may experience aesthetic issues such as “not feeling feminine” due to the excess tissue in the vaginal area.
Reduction of Labia Majora
Women who believe their labia majora are overly bulky or big undergo labia majoraplasty. Labial reduction is used for a variety of medical reasons, including the correction of labial damage caused by childbirth, the relief of pain and suffering caused by bigger and enlarged labia, and as cosmetic surgery for personal aesthetic reasons.

Following the patient’s recovery from disease or damage, labiaplasty lowers the size of one or both sets of labia, i.e. labia majora and labia minora.

Labiaplasty is commonly a surgical operation done under anaesthetic in practise.
Reduction of the Clitoral Hood:
It is a surgery that involves removing extra Prepuce (excess skin/hood) from directly over the clitoris, which serves as a protective shield for the clitoris. In about 50 to 60 percent of patients, this hood develops. It comes in the form of a second hood.

The hood starts just above the clitoral hood’s apex and finishes at the labia minora. Although this is just a cosmetic treatment, many women choose to have labia minor reduction surgery, thus it is vital to have this redundancy eliminated or decreased in order to have an aesthetically pleasing labia minor reduction surgery.
Hymenoplasty:
The hymen is repaired during a hymenoplasty operation. This surgery can reconstruct the hymen as if no sexual encounters ever took place, and it is frequently used for cultural, religious, or social reasons.

A membrane that surrounds or partially covers the external vaginal entrance is known as the hymen. It is a component of the external genitalia, or vulva. The hymenal aperture gets bigger as you get older. After giving birth, a woman may be left with carunculae myrtiformes, which are remains of the hymen, or the hymen may be completely missing. The hymen is restored through hymenoplasty.
G-Spot Augmentation(GSA):
GSA is a patent-pending technique for enhancing or amplifying the G-Spot with human-engineered collagen. The G-shot contains Collagen, a natural, biological ingredient that has been approved by the FDA and will improve a woman’s sexual experience. Unlike most collagen treatments on the market, this active ingredient specially produced and processed collagen does not require pre-injection skin testing.

GSA is a quick and painless office treatment that takes less than 15 minutes to complete. The effect can continue up to four months; however this depends on the individual.
