About the Institute

The Institute of Gastroenterology at SIMS Hospitals, is the most referred and comprehensive centre available in Chennai as it brings together experts across Medical Gastroenterology and Surgical Gastroenterology, under a single roof. Under the leadership of Directors and Senior Consultants Dr. Ramakrishna B and Dr. Patta Radhakrishna, our team is fully equipped with the full range of advanced endoscopic platforms including ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), capsule endoscopy, spyglass cholangioscopy, and endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), alongside a robotic surgical programme for oesophageal, gastric, colorectal, and complex abdominal procedures.
