Dr. K. R. Suresh Bapu is a pioneering neurosurgeon and the Director & Senior Consultant at the Institute of Neuroscience, SIMS Hospital. He is renowned for establishing Micro Neurosurgery in South Tamil Nadu and for training numerous neurosurgeons throughout his distinguished career. Dr. Bapu is a trailblazer, having performed the first STA-MCA anastomosis in South Tamil Nadu in 1984.
