Dr. Vijay S did his MBBS from Stanley Medical College and completed his Neurosurgical training and passed MCh in Neurosurgery from the Institute of Neurology, Madras Medical College. After practising Neurosurgery for a brief period at Erode, he migrated to the United Kingdom in 2005 for further training. He worked in various Neurosurgical centres in the UK, including University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, Royal Preston Hospital and Hope Hospital, Manchester. He has got special training in Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery (MISS) in Munich, Germany. He was a member of the Royal college panel for FRCS (Neurosurgery) examinations in March, 2011.
